Sell Big Ticket Items Now! - 1 Simple Step To Keep Your Fears From Holding YOU Back

By Chuck Daniel First, some background on today’s topic. I’ve had a terrible week. Not terrible as in I got nothing done because I did actually get quite a bit done. But man, I struggled. And I didn’t even really understand why. I have to admit, most of what I got done happened between Thursday and Sunday. Have you ever had a week like that where you struggled to get things done? Or worse yet, struggled and didn’t get anything done? Or maybe it just FELT LIKE you didn’t accomplish anything? I hate weeks like that and I rarely feel that way. So why was this week different? At first, I couldn’t put my finger on anything specific. Looking back and replaying my week in my mind didn’t cause anything to stand out either. In short, nothing really clicked as the cause for the way I was feeling and acting. So then I decided to do what I always do when I am trying to solve a problem. I just kinda let it go for a while and did something else. And THEN, I finally figured out what the problem was! It wasn’t anything specific about THIS week. It was related to something I had done several weeks ago. And it’s very ironic that this was the cause of my problem. You see, several weeks ago I had drafted my 90 marketing plan. This document describes what I plan to do in my Big Ticket Marketing efforts over a 3 month period. It’s actually not that hard to figure out but it is something that you need to track closely and see which weeks of marketing effort have the biggest payoff. In other words, you want to track which things you did that resulted in the biggest payoff in sales, opt-ins by potential customers, joint ventures, branding, etc. Basically all the stuff we need to do to as part of our Big Ticket Marketing efforts. We want to repeat those things that give us the largest payoff in our next 3 month marketing plans and drop those things that didn’t work out. And of course we always try new things that we think will work, as well. Anyway, the reason that I was struggling and feeling like I wasn’t accomplishing this week was because… I was in OVERWHELM! I had a lot of tasks I wanted to accomplish, because I’m an ambitious guy. I want to do well and I have a lot of goals I want to reach. This is all fine, but the point of having a 90 day marketing plan is so that it will be easy to focus on the specific set of tasks that I need to accomplish each week by focusing on ONLY ONE main area each week. And normally, this system is very effective at keeping me focused. But, ironically, the act of creating the 90 day marketing plan made me look at everything I had to accomplish in the next 3 months and I was sort of stuck in that mode. I wasn’t being effective at focusing on this weeks tasks because I was in OVERWHELM thinking about everything I had to get done, overall. Have you ever experienced that? I think we all have at one point or another. However, I am disappointed that I didn’t recognize what was going on sooner. My background as a software engineer for Microsoft forced me to be pretty disciplined about focusing on what I needed to do and what our team needed to do every week to accomplish our goals. And sometimes the ship cycles lasted between 1.5 to 2 years. Plus I have a black belt in Hapkido (a Korean martial art like a cross between Tae Kwon Do and Aikido), which requires a lot of training discipline, patience, practice and long term view. But at the same time requires you to learn and work on smaller portions of the entire body of techniques, patterns, because that is the only way you can really learn what you need to know. Anyway, my point is that I should know better and yet I still fell into the fear from OVERWHELM. And I think everyone experiences not only overwhelm but other fears about what they want to do as well. The title of this article promised you a simple secret to keep your fears from holding you back - from selling Big Ticket Items. Can you guess what the secret is? I’ll give you a hint. It’s not really a secret at all. In fact everyone knows about this but unfortunately not everyone knows what to do especially in a case like overwhelm. Ready… the secret is ACTION! Yes, ACTION. Now you are probably wondering… “Hey, wait a sec, you just said you were in overwhelm, how can action possibly be the secret for that?” Napoleon Hill, in his book “Think and Grow Rich” said, “Action is the real measure of intelligence”. Thomas Huxley said: “The great end of life is not knowledge but action.” Intelligence means nothing, action means everything. I knew what I had to do this week and yet I was struggling to do it. I even had a 90 day marketing plan with each week spelled out for me and yet I was stuck. I got unstuck when I realized I was overwhelmed and decided to do something about it. What I decided to do was to take action. But the type of action I decided to take was influenced by my precious experience both in software development and martial arts. Have you heard of Kaizen? Kaizen is a Japanese word which basically means ‘continuous and incremental improvement’. The word came from when the Japanese were introduced to the work of W. Edward Deming when he was stationed in Japan to help them rebuild after World War II. While there, Deming introduced them to what later became know as Total Quality Management. What I like about Kaizen is that it takes small action steps over time to solve problems. The beauty of this approach is that you can take something that currently seems daunting or puts you in overwhelm and start by only focusing on one small step that you can take to help improve the problem. The small step is so easy that you bypass your overwhelm and fears and just do that one small step. Then after a little while you introduce another small step and continuously improve the situation or problem until it is solved. So in this way you CAN take action, even if it is very small, and slowly over time each action you take has an effect that builds on all the others and creates an unstoppable force until your problem has been solved. The fact that the action is so small makes it easy for you to do SOMETHING and not focus on how much you have to do. Maybe a short example will help. One of my goals is to increase the readership of my articles and to get more people exciting about Big Ticket Marketing. One of the best ways to do that is to get my blog and my articles out to as many readers as I can. So this week, I wanted to get my Blog and my articles listed in as many E-zine and Electronic List directories as possible. I even have software to help me do this. Guess how many directories and list locations there are? Well… there are over 1000 just in the built in database in the software I am using. I kept putting this off, because I had a bunch of other stuff I needed to get done as well. But this was a major focus for me this week. Finally, what I decided to do was to just add my information to ONE directory or list every time I finished another task. Breaking it down so that I only had to worry about one entry every so often REALLY helped me make some progress in this area, without worrying about how many there were. I still have a long way to go, but my initial goal was to get listed in 20-25 sites and I’m currently sitting at 17. A few more sites and I will have met my goal! Plus, Kaizen is really how I study martial arts so the process is very familiar to me even when applied to something else. Ok, so the one 1 simple step you need to take anytime you have a fear to conquer or an overwhelming situation to deal with is to decide on one simple action that you can do in a very short amount of time that will ultimately help you solve your problem. Do this, and then increase what you are doing in that area by a little bit each time and before you know it you will have your problem solved. Try this! It works amazingly well with very little effort. And you get a huge amount of satisfaction knowing that you are taking steps to accomplish what you want to get done… and you’ll be doing it almost effortlessly. By the way, if you want a great little resource on how to apply Kaizen, you should get The Kaizen Way - One Small Step Can Change Your Life by Robert Maurer. It’s a relatively recent book and a quick read at 182 pages. You can find it on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble online. Maybe this is your first small action step. The Holy Spirit Is Our Guide

By Terry Weber You have probably heard it said the Holy Spirit is like a cloud; a fog; a ghost or even a wind. As we all know, it is as hard to explain what or who the Holy Spirit is as it is to explain what wind is. Obviously, the wind is something we cannot see, But, we can feel the wind so that leads us to try to explain it by talking about the effects of the wind and what it does all around us. I have spent many fun-filled hours in wind-related activities such as: sailing boats, flying airplanes and soaring in hang gliders. As a result, I have become quite familiar with the effects of the wind. I know many of the ways the wind can affect whatever vehicle Im in. Of course, it is always up to me as the one who is in control of the boat or plane to adjust the sails or wings properly to make the best, most practical and safest use of that wind. I must, through training and experience, learn to make that unseen and uncontrollable wind became my servant. When I feel the wind on my face, I know it is there and I know in which direction it is blowing. The wind can be soft and gentle or it can be wild, and strong! Then, it is up to me to learn what the wind is telling me so I will always be the one who is in control of the airplane or sailboat I am in. Thats when I have to make a choice: I can either fight the wind or yield to it. When I try to fight the wind, it does not work. I never win that battle. But, when I relax and go with the flow, Ive found I can; always find ways to make progress toward my goal. For example, when in flight, in a light aircraft, in a strong, rough and bumpy wind, I will choose to head my fragile airplane to the sanctuary and safety a nearby airport. Or, when in a sailboat in stormy winds and rough seas, I will steer toward a protected harbor where I can drop my anchor and know Ill be safe. In these ways I find I take control of the effects of the wind but I can never actually control the wind. As Christians, we sometimes try to explain the Holy Spirit as being a person who lives in us where he affects our lives much like the invisible wind. (See Acts: at Pentecost the Holy Spirit came in the form of a wind). Like the wind, we are made aware of the Holy Spirits presence in us because of the effect he has on us. As we know, from Scripture, the Holy Spirits purpose is to live inside of those who believe in Jesus. This is so Gods character which includes: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control are produced in the lives of all believers. (Gal. 5:22-23). As Christians we do not have to try to achieve these characteristics on our own, because the Holy Spirit suggests them to our hearts. Also, as believers, we agree and place our trust in what the Holy Spirit advises. The result is that our spiritual growth is improved as we find ourselves walking in the Spirit (Gal. 5:25). As I said before, over a lifetime, Ive learned the many ways I could make the wind work for my benefit. This experience has given me a better understanding of how the invisible wind of the Holy Spirit can guide my heart and mind. Experience has also taught me I cannot control the wind of the Holy Spirit any more than I can control the natural winds of this world. The benefit to me is that the wind of the Holy Spirit is constantly guiding, directing, and doing a work in me, so that, what I do, the way I live, is what God wants. But what about the non-Christians out there? Again, the uncontrollable Holy Spirit can be like a wind that also gently nudges the hearts and minds of all non-Christians. The Spirit offers them those same benefits: a new born again life of forgiveness with Jesus. (John 16:8-11). This gentle persuasion is done so these non-believers will feel welcomed and hopefully — have a desire to understand the Scripture that says to them: greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. (Rom. 8). When there is wind, we know it is there because we see what it does. In the same way, with our faith and trust in God, we can live our lives with the expectation that we will experience the good effects of the wind of the Holy Spirit who lives in each believer. Finally, when we relinquish our attempts to control the uncontrollable wind of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. then, and only then, will he become — our guide. Terry L. What is Bipolar Disorder?

By Paul Ghossain Bipolar disorder is also commonly known as manic depression. Manic depression is a psychological disorder that is treatable, but as of yet, not curable. A person who suffers from this disorder tends to have extreme periods of depression, which is then followed by extreme periods of happiness. Manic depression is divided into two types. The two types are known as Bipolar Type 1 and Bipolar Type 2. When a person suffers from Bipolar Type 1,their depression period is usually low to mild. However, their period of happiness is extremely high. If they are suffering from Bipolar Type 2, the opposite occurs where by their period of happiness is low to mild, whilst their period of depression is extremely high. When a sufferer of manic Bipolar disorder reaches an extreme form of mania, it is said that they are suffering from hypomania. During the period of hypomania, the sufferer will become more active and anxious. They tend to become more talkative, sleep a lot less, take a lot of chances that are out of the norm, and many times tend to be in love with the world. Because of the constant changes in their moods, people who are close to sufferers of bipolar disorder find them extremely difficult to deal with. This is also the case when friends or family members attempt to communicate with them. Because of the constant hospitalization needed in order to treat people with manic depression, sufferers of this disorder find it very difficult to function in their daily 9 5 jobs. More info on bipolar disorder can be found by visiting depression.healthsect.com/bipolar-disorder.html. Mattress: A Very Important Investment in Your Life

By Mike Lowe Here are some questions you should ask prior to your selection of a mattress. You know the saying, we spend about a third of our lives sleeping, so shouldn’t the quality of our sleep matter? That’s an obvious question, however the problem is many of us don’t usually look beyond the surface of what to look for in a mattress. In fact this is an immensely important purchase decision! Sleep affects everything we do and how we feel on a daily basis! It directly affects our health, well-being, and happiness. OK hopefully that got your attention if not already. Comparison shopping is a must. Do not simply go by brand names or go to your local bedding store and pick out something on your first try. Consider this an important investment in your life. The average time people use the same mattress is for 10 to 15 years! That’s a longer turnover rate than with cars! Try to go with a larger size mattress if possible, a Queen size perhaps if you have the room. Thicker mattresses generally are more comfortable than the thin ones. Try to avoid spring coil mattresses as after a while you will start feeling the coils rubbing against your body. There are many kinds of mattresses such as tempurpedic, visco pedic, and others. Find one that you feel comfortable with. You will certainly be glad that you spent some extra time picking out a mattress, it will certainly be one of the best investments in your personal life (other than having a roof over your head). Adjustable air mattresses related products and services are available at our site. http://www.mattressbliss.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Mike_Lowe http://EzineArticles.com/?Mattress:-A-Very-Important-Investment-in-Your-Life&id=251113 money order valium online prescription for valium order valium no prescription buy xanax online valium

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Alice_Erin]Alice Erin Now here is one business phone where the users will use the words like beautiful and attractive to describe it. Yes, normally these words would be used to describe fashion phones, but with Nokia E65 using these adjectives would just be as normal. The phones comes with a slider mechanism, in a small compact style. No, the keypad does not have a QWERTY keypad, but if the priority is short messages then Nokia E65 aptly accommodates all the necessities. Talking of text messages, the Nokia E65 is also enabled with a backlight so that the texts can be read in dark environment. How to Ask for a Raise

By Dave Lorenzo In every office around the world there is a big bag of money just sitting in a closet. That bag of money is the secret stash that the big shots give to people who provide value. Your job is to get them to reach into that bag and give you the increase that you deserve. There is a good chance that your company doesnt really have that bag of money in the closet. But it is important that you keep that mental image with you as you seek a pay increase. There is almost always a way for a company to reward a star performer. Sometimes this reward involves financial compensation. Sometimes the compensation can come in the form of an added benefit. Sometimes a company will only offer something as simple as a new place to sit or a larger office. The goal of this article is to help you receive something additional from your employer. As you begin, you need to take a good hard look at your performance. Have you created value for your company? If so, can you quantify how much value you have created? (If you are in sales, this is pretty easy. You simply need to look at the amount of business you have brought into the firm. In other areas, look at money you have saved the company since your last pay increase.) When you examine your performance, examine it as it compares to your peers within your organization. If you are not near the top of the list, you probably do not have a viable argument for seeking an increase. Next compare your performance to other people in your industry. Are you above average? Again, if you are not, you should probably improve your performance before you ask for a raise. Now that you know how valuable you are to the company, and where you stand in the pecking order, you can begin to make a reasonable case for an increase. Get your numbers together. Make sure you can present some figures to the boss that show the value you have created. DO NOT compare yourself to anyone in your current organization. You boss will have access to these numbers. She will know exactly where you stand in the firm. At this stage you are just looking to put some figures on paper that will show that you have a good understanding of the value you create. Picking the right opportunity for the money conversation is critical. Timing is everything in business. There are a few times that are ideal for having a conversation about a pay increase. These times are: Right after you have received an award. If your company (or better yet your industry) recognizes your value by giving you an award, you have some good momentum. Go for it. After you have closed a big deal, saved some big money for the firm or played a critical role on a project. Once again you can capitalize on some positive momentum. If you have agreed to take on additional responsibility. This is particularly true if you will be doing the jobs of multiple individuals. A labor savings will often result in additional compensation for the remaining workers. After your boss has received an award. If your boss is performing at a high level, she may want to share some of the recognition with you. After the company has announced a good financial period. If the company is making more money, there might be some additional compensation available for key contributors. When the moment of truth arrives for the conversation make sure you are dressed well and you have excellent personal hygiene. (This sounds basic but there is nothing worse than sitting across from someone who is asking for money and smells like they slept in a dumpster). As you make your case, talk about the numbers. Show the value you have provided. Explain how you plan to continue to provide even more value in the future. It is key that you appear rational and unemotional. Approach this as a business transaction. Once the conversation is over give your boss time to process the information. Dont pester her every day for an answer. She may have several people she needs to speak with to get authorization for your request. After a week to ten days, follow up with a friendly e-mail asking if she has any information on your request. If she does not, it is appropriate to ask her to estimate when she will have an answer. There are a few things that you should definitely NOT do when asking for a raise. DONT talk about the reason you need the money. This will not be a consideration for most companies. Your problems are not their problems. Saying that you have personal financial difficulty only makes you appear weak. DONT demand to be paid as much as a specific employee in your firm. Comparing yourself to other employees will only get ugly in the long run. Its OK to compare yourself to the average pay for your position or the average compensation in your industry, but dont compare yourself to an individual. DONT threaten to leave. Your relationship with you boss will never recover from a threat. If you are good at your job, your boss will know that you have options. You dont need to rub it in her face. The bottom line in asking for a raise is that you must be a value-creator to deserve additional consideration. Highlight the ways you create value. Talk about your value in financial terms. Time your conversation appropriately. Take a rational and business-like approach toward requesting more compensation. Remember that most businesses try to obtain services as inexpensively as possible. This includes labor. Chances are good that you will only receive more if you ask for it. Do You Have Stretch Marks?

By Charles Kassotis In these times of cultural emphasis on physical perfection, anyone who is struggling with stretch marks on their skin may be concerned about their appearance, their location, and their marring of otherwise healthy-looking tissue. Yet most stretch marks are harmless in themselves; they merely represent the fact that skin in a certain area has been pulled or stretched beyond its original position or placement on the body, which can occur during pregnancy when the abdomen increases to accommodate the growing baby, or during weight gain, as extra pounds pull the skin beyond its original boundaries. Sometimes stretch marks appear of their own volition, depending on your skins elasticity and the type of exercises or daily movements you make that could impact your skins conditioning. Dry skin may seem to shrivel in spots and lose its elasticity, producing reddish squiggly lines that will eventually shrink and fade, but perhaps not quite disappear. Although millions of people live with this condition and dont seem to mind a certain amount of stretched skin area, others fight the appearance of stretch marks with vehemence, determined to make their body as beautiful and smooth as it was before these tell-tale wrinkles appeared. As with most unwanted conditions, prevention is the best treatment. To avoid the appearance of those fine lines on areas that are most likely to be affected, including the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and the underside of the upper arms, make a point of eating a healthy diet. Most of us need at least two fruits and three fresh or cooked vegetables each day, along with a well-balanced set of meals that provide the nourishment we need to get and stay healthy. Some people may even want to take a multivitamin to be sure they are getting adequate protection. Another thing that some experts recommend is to drink at least eight glasses of clear fluids daily. Water helps to rinse away bodily debris to keep skin supple and clear. Some medical researchers believe that drinking plenty of water can improve circulation and cleanse the body of toxins, both of which may help to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Avoid gaining extra pounds. Your frame has only a certain ability to accommodate all the weight you put on. After the limit is reached, extra tissue in the form of excess weight can become stretched and dimpled to create an unattractive and unhealthy impression. If you are already overweight, consult your doctor about a plan to lose the extra pounds. Women who plan to get pregnant should follow a sensible diet. They also may want to rub baby oil or cocoa butter on their abdomens to keep them supple. Some women claim this helps to prevent the formation of stretch marks. Ask your doctor if this might work for you. Of course, if all else fails, wear clothes that cover the offensive marks. But chances are that no one but you would notice them anyway, so bear them proudly as evidence of your life-giving ability, if you are a mother, or of your successful weight loss efforts if the marks are due to pounds you have lost. How to Ask Your Employer for a Raise

By John Mc Kee Weve all done it - played that movie over and over in our minds of our confident entry into the boss office and asking for - no, demanding that elusive pay raise. However deserved, however, reality often plays out far differently, with many relegating themselves to their boss budgetary discretion. Yes, asking for a raise can be tricky as there are so many factors that come into play: the business culture, company policies regarding regular job assessments and wage reviews, and the subjectivity of your boss. Asking for a raise can be more than anxiety provokingit can be downright depressing. So, what are the throngs of underpaid, though deserving, employees throughout corporate America to do? John McKee, a Certified Business and Executive Coach and Author of 21 Ways Women in Management Shoot Themselves in the Foot, who has received, denied and granted literally thousands of pay raise requests throughout his management career, offers these potentially profitable insights: For those employed in companies with policies regarding wage reviews, the first thing is to find out how frequently those are supposed to occur. In most large companies, it will be an annual activity with the HR department providing supervisors with guidelines for how to appraise individuals, and what type of increases are appropriate based on how the employee is rated for performance, attitude and potential growth on the job in the future. If you are involved in this type of organization, you should take advantage of the formality and regularity of the wage/performance review annual event by preparing a self-assessment of your own job performance. This self appraisal should be honest - if you have areas that could be better, you should exactly what, and how, you intend to improve, including recommendations for any additional training that could enhance your performance. It is also important you note any and all accomplishments along with specific measurements and dates in case the boss may overlook or forget about those highlights. Many companies - particularly small or new ones - will not have formalized policies regarding annual assessments and/or pay raises. This can be both good and bad. It’s great if the company is led by someone who is enlightened and recognizes individual contributions, and rewards or compensates employees accordingly. However, those who are not lucky enough to have such intuitive bosses and feel they are not making the kind of money they should be should request a meeting with the boss to specifically discuss performance and commensurate compensation. It is important not to get over zealous and storm in to the boss office demanding a raise (as empowering as that fantasy is), as doing so will put the boss in a defensive mode that is not conducive to a positive discussionoutcome. Simply tell the boss you would like to discuss the subject, and ask when it would be convenience for him or her to do so. Then, prepare! Before the meeting you should have a complete record of what and how you’ve done since the last raise, wherever possible citing specific metric results related thereto, with dates, to show that your merit is not subjective, but rather based on performance fact. While some may feel this next piece of advice is counter productive, I do recommend that you offer to give this self-assessment to your boss before the meeting so he or she can understand your point of view and prepare accordingly. By no means is this telling the enemy your strategy, rendering your defeat inevitable. Rather, I believe that in any negotiation - and this is a real negotiation for you - it is best to lay out your cards in an honest and forthright manner. If the boss wants to keep you happy and on staff, your information will help him or her understand your value in undeniable terms. If, on the other hand, the boss has no intention of rewarding you in a manner that you feel is fair and appropriate, he or she will always find a way to justify that decision. So, providing the boss with your input prior to meeting will only make it easier to find out the ultimate, final outcome and you can make an educated decision regarding your future with that company, accordingly. Should You Hire An Accident Attorney?

By David Hallstrom You have been in a accident, automobile, slip and fall, workplace, etc.. Should you see or speak with an attorney? As far as I am concerned, the answer is always yes. When should you consult with an accident attorney? You should seek the advise of an accident attorney as soon as possible after the accident. Do not wait. You could be giving up certain rights. You should definetly speak with an attorney before speaking with the other sides insurance agent, adjuster or attorney. You say that you can not afford an attorney. Most accident attorneys will consult with you for free and, if they take your case, will handle it on a contingency basis, not taking any fee untill the case is settled. Most settlements are increased to cover the cost of the attorney and therefore normally the attorney costs you nothing. Many attorneys will also advance all court costs for you if they are forced to file suit. You say that you were injured, however, the insurance company has offered to pay your medical bills and you do not feel it is right to take advantage of them by asking for additional money for your, pain, suffering, lost work, etc.. Don’t you feel that you as a person are worth something? Do you think so little of yourself that you feel that your pain, suffering, inconvience, etc. is worthless. You did not cause this accident. What you are going through was caused by someone else. You deserve to be compensated. The insurance company, as a matter of good business, has already built these types of costs into the premiums that they charge their customers. If the money does not go to you it will probably go to their shareholders or to increased salaries or ?. Why shouldn’t you be properly compensated. Remember most good attorneys are ethical and although they will attempt to obtain as much money for you as is due, they will not take your case unless they feel that it is proper. You say someone else admitted liability and said that their insurance will pay all your damages. That’s great, however, what if the person changes his or her story later on and says that you were at fault. Or what if the other side’s insurance company refuses to pay what you think is proper. In fact, how do you know what is proper? Remember, an insurance company may pay claims, but it is in business to make money. It normally will not offer one dollar more than it has to and if you are not represented by an attorney the insurance company adjuster or attorney may feel that he or she can “get away” with paying much less than the claim may be worth. Additionally, what people state at the time of an accident is not always what they state after having spoken with a friend, insurance agent or attorney. Finally, an insurance adjuster or insurance attorney works for the insurance company, not for you. How do you know that what they are telling you is correct or true. Remember, in most instances, they are there to try and save the company money. You need an attorney on your side to tell you what your rights and obligations are. You say that you were not hurt that bad or at all. How do you know how badly you were hurt. Some injuries do not show up for months. Other injuries may aggrivate a prior problem. Even if you have been found to be “ok” by a doctor, how do you know that a problem will not come up later. If you have insurance and did go to a doctor, who is going to pay your co-pay or deductible. If you do not have health insurance, who is going to pay for your examination which should include xrays, etc.. If you retain an attorney he or she can probably refer you to a doctor who will accept a lien against the insurance settlement, thereby saving you from paying money out of your pocket. You say you have accident insurance, why not let them handle everthing for you. Your insurance company is there to defend any claims against you not to represent you in any claims against other parties. Additionally, they also are in business to make money. How do you know if they are trying to settle a case to help you or to save themselves money. Solving Problems the Easy Way

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jeff_Lakie]Jeff Lakie Life happens and crises occur. If we lived in a perfect world, wed all live on beautiful beaches and never have to work! But the reality is that life is messy and sometimes our expenses are greater than our income. Here is how to deal with any negative financial situations when they arise. The first course of action is preventative: You should create a budget and stick to it. A budget is simple to create. You simply list all of your average monthly expenses on one side of a paper and all of your average monthly income on the other side. Then, make sure that the total in the income side is greater. Be sure to include on the expenses side two line items: current enjoyment and future savings. Put at least 10% of your income away into the future savings line and also invest a little into your current enjoyment line. Its important to enjoy today and its important to have something for the future. Having a budget will help to minimize disasters that may strike. But they may still strike! When disaster strikes, though, there are options which you can take these courses of action: The first thing you should do is try to adjust your budget to pay for the problem. Perhaps you can increase your income or sacrifice a little from here or there to see that the problem is paid for. If thats the case, that should be your priority, since your payments will take care of the problem quickly. But there are alternatives if that fails. Second, try to get a secured loan using assets you have, such as your home or other valuables. These assets will allow you to negotiate a lower interest rate and longer repayment period so that your expenses can come back in line again. For many people, a disaster means higher bills, so a secured loan is one of the best first steps to take to pay off your bills but still manage your payments over time. A third option is to get an unsecured loan. These are not nearly as good as secured loans because they can come with a higher interest rate and shorter repayment periods because the risk to the lending institution is higher. But for some people, this is the best or only option. If its yours, take it because an unsecured loan may still be cheaper in the long run than expensive credit card interest rates or repossessed possessions!
